Nvidia has announced Nemotron 3.5 Lightning, an open model built for AI agents, together with NeMo Switchyard, a library that routes tasks between models.
The 30-billion-parameter Lightning model takes on specialized tasks in multi-agent systems, such as code review, tool use and security monitoring. Switchyard sends each step of a workflow to the best-suited model. The model is available on platforms including Hugging Face and build.nvidia.com, and Switchyard is open source on GitHub.
