Mitsubishi Motors has partnered with graduates of Tokyo University to develop humanoid robots. The company plans to initially use the robots in its own factories, with series production targeted to begin at its Kyoto facility in early 2027.

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket’s upper stage, launched in 2025, impacted the lunar surface. The event, confirmed by NASA, occurred as the piece of debris traveled at approximately 8,700 km/h, creating a new crater.

The Vera C. Rubin Observatory released one of the most detailed images to date of the COSMOS region. The image, created with a 3.2 gigapixel camera, contains over 500,000 galaxies and more than 50,000 stars.

Robinhood announced the RVII fund, which will allow individual investors to indirectly invest in Y Combinator ventures. The fund is expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on August 13 with a starting price of $25.
