OpenAI has introduced new Chrome integration features that let ChatGPT access browser tabs and perform tasks on users' behalf.

In Chat mode, it can analyze information across open tabs, while Work mode enables actions such as sending messages, filling out forms, downloading files, and organizing tabs into groups. The update expands ChatGPT's role from a conversational assistant into an AI agent capable of completing tasks directly in the browser.
