Qualcomm and SpaceX have announced a partnership to deploy tens of thousands of 5G cell sites across the United States for Starlink Mobile.

Powered by Qualcomm's Dragonwing infrastructure, the network aims to combine satellite and terrestrial 5G connectivity to improve coverage and network capacity. Deployment is scheduled to begin in 2027, supporting SpaceX's ambition to compete with established U.S. mobile carriers.
