TikTok published its annual Songs of the Summer list covering global and U.S. music trends for 2026.
Katy Perry’s 2011 song “The One That Got Away” topped the global list after appearing in more than 42 million TikTok videos generating over 55 billion views. Its resurgence on the platform also helped return the track to the Billboard Global 200.
