OpenAI has released a preview of the ChatGPT desktop application for Linux. The application combines ChatGPT, Work, and Codex into a single desktop experience and supports current versions of Ubuntu, Debian, and Fedora.

According to Meta, artificial intelligence’s greatest contribution won’t be automation, but rather empowering people with the “power to invent.” The company aims for everyone to have access to a 24/7 personal super intelligence, production tools, and personalized educational support.

Anthropic is embedding machine-readable watermarks into content produced by Claude. New Claude models will feature invisible markers in text and digitally signed source information in supported files.

OpenAI added a restaurant reservation feature to ChatGPT. Users can select date, time, and party size at supported restaurants; a "Make a Reservation" button initiates the booking process directly within the chat.

Dyna Robotics introduced its new robotic artificial intelligence model, DYNA-2. The model was trained with over one million hours of human video and can learn physical movements by transferring that information to robotic tasks it has not encountered before.
