Anthropic has launched a new developer portal that makes it easier to build, submit, and publish plugins for Claude.
Plugins can combine MCP connectors and Agent Skills, while the portal provides automated validation, security checks, review tracking, and post-launch usage analytics. Approved plugins can appear in the Claude directory, with support also extending to MCP 2.0 and interactive MCP Apps inside chat.
