Open-source AI assistant OpenClaw has released OpenClaw 2.0, the largest update in its history, built by 933 contributors and comprising over 16,000 pull requests. 

The release simplifies setup, rebuilds the browser app from the ground up, and introduces shared cloud sessions that let teams collaborate live on the same task. The nearly two-month development stretch prioritized a smooth transition for existing users over shipping quickly.
