Microsoft AI opened its draft Humanist AI Code of Conduct for public feedback, outlining intended behavior for its MAI models.
The proposal calls for AI to remain under human control, accept shutdown and avoid presenting itself as having feelings. The consultation will run for six weeks; the document is not yet used in training, with a revised version set to guide model development from 2027 onward.
