NASA’s X-59 sets its own record with six test flights in one week
NASA’s low-boom supersonic experimental aircraft X-59 completed two flights each on September 22, 24 and 25.
The aircraft reached 38 total test flights and its highest speed yet at Mach 1.53 that same week. The tests support research into quieter supersonic travel over land.
