Apple released iOS 26.6.1 and iPadOS 26.6.1 updates. The new versions address security vulnerabilities that could lead to the leakage of sensitive user information, reading of core memory, and interception of network traffic.

According to video found in macOS 26.7 Release Candidate files by Aaron Perris, Apple’s camera-equipped AirPods model will be able to identify objects in the environment using Visual Intelligence and provide information to the user. The image shows the feature working for the first time.
