Xiaomi has released the source code and model weights for its Xiaomi-Robotics-1 base model for robots as open source. XR-1 was trained with over 100,000 hours of real-world data and can learn new tasks with just a few hours of demonstration.

Google’s WeatherNext 2 model has achieved the highest level of accuracy in predicting the trajectory, intensity, and wind structure of hurricanes and tropical cyclones. The company says this represents approximately 10 years of meteorological progress.
