Google introduced two upgrades to Google Translate’s Live Translate experience on Android and iOS.

Live translations can now continue in the background or while the screen is locked on Android, while iOS users can hear translated audio through the phone’s earpiece without headphones. The service supports more than 70 languages, with background translation coming to iOS later.
