Cloudflare has launched a Web Search API through AI Gateway, giving AI applications direct access to fresh information from the live web.

The service initially supports Ceramic.ai, Exa and Linkup, with access available through REST APIs and Cloudflare Workers while returning source-linked search results. Cloudflare says requests integrate with AI Gateway observability and billing, use provider list pricing without extra markup, and also support bring-your-own-key setups.
