NASA has unveiled its new experimental aircraft, the X-70 Fractal.

Designed as a crewed, modular research platform, the aircraft features rapidly reconfigurable flight controls to test advanced maneuverability and emerging aviation technologies. With a planned cruising speed of Mach 0.75 and a maximum altitude of approximately 45,000 feet, the X-70 is expected to make its first flight within two years.
