NVIDIA has announced work with leading semiconductor companies to expand the use of AI across chip design and manufacturing at SEMICON West.
The company introduced cuPotential, a new CUDA-X library for building AI agents that model atomic and molecular interactions, while companies including Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens, Lam Research and Applied Materials are using NVIDIA tools to speed up simulation, lithography and inspection. cuPotential is available in early access, as NVIDIA works toward "AI-defined fabs," where AI helps optimize processes and improve yield.
