China has set a 2030 target for the initial large-scale deployment of all-solid-state batteries under its new battery industry plan covering 2026–2030.
The roadmap calls for breakthroughs in advanced electrode materials, new electrolytes and next-generation battery systems. It also targets a cycle life of 15,000 cycles for long-life lithium batteries.
