AMD’s Threadripper Halo Station, first shown at IFA 2026, is designed to bring trillion-parameter-scale AI workloads from the cloud onto a deskside workstation.
The system combines a 96-core Ryzen Threadripper PRO, Instinct-class accelerators and up to 2.6 TB of total memory, providing enough capacity for frontier models and hundreds of local AI agents. AMD has also demonstrated 1T+ parameter inference across a four-node Ryzen AI Halo cluster, while the Threadripper Halo Station is scheduled to arrive in 2027.
