China presented five new initiatives to expand technology cooperation among BRICS countries.

The plan includes an AI open-source hub supporting large-language-model development and applications, alongside a digital-industry cloud platform. It also proposes cooperation on smart factories, joint engineer training and science-and-technology exchanges for young people.
