Cloudflare has opened Artifacts to public beta and is inviting developers to rethink Git platforms for a future where large numbers of AI agents work on the same codebase.
The system lets agents create and fork repositories, preserve code and context with versioning, and automate reviews or deployments through Workers. Cloudflare is also running a competition for projects built with Workers and Artifacts, with submissions open until October 14, 2026.
