German startup Isar Aerospace successfully deployed satellites into orbit with its Spectrum rocket, becoming the first commercial space company from Europe to achieve the milestone.
Launched from Norway’s Andøya Spaceport, the 28-meter Spectrum delivered five small satellites and a technology experiment to their target orbits. The achievement came on the company’s second flight and marks a major step toward more independent commercial access to space in Europe.
