ArtCraft has introduced “Crafting Apps,” a seven-app open-source suite designed as a free alternative to Adobe Creative Cloud.

PhotoCraft, VectorCraft and FilmCraft target Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro-style workflows, while LightCraft, PrintCraft, EffectCraft and DesignCraft cover Lightroom, Acrobat, After Effects and InDesign equivalents. The apps are being built from scratch in Rust with no subscription required, though several are still in early development.
