Flying car startup Alef Aeronautics responded to Tesla's new Roadster demonstration with a video showing its aircraft flying over several vehicles, including a Tesla Roadster.
CEO Jim Dukhovny welcomed Tesla to the flying car race, pointing out that Alef had been working in the field for 11 years. Alef says the demonstration marked its 1,000th recorded flight, while Tesla's Roadster uses compressed-gas thrusters for brief aerial maneuvers.
