Recursive has introduced Flint, a new AI coding model developed with the help of its automated research system, Eureka Machine.

The 40-billion-parameter model activates approximately 2.5 billion parameters per token, enabling efficient code generation, debugging, and automated testing. Built in roughly four months, Flint is available as a free, open-weight model that can run locally on compatible hardware.
