OpenAI has introduced Dots, persistent AI agents designed to work on a user’s behalf around the clock.

Powered by GPT-6 Astra, Dots can operate their own cloud computers, connect to more than 4,000 apps and continue tasks without constant supervision. The rollout is starting gradually for Pro and Business Premium users in eligible markets, with an Enterprise beta also available.
