WhatsApp has introduced new parental controls designed to help families guide how teens use the app.

Parents can manage privacy settings, group activity, Channels, Status visibility and Meta AI options, while certain changes require approval through a parent-set PIN. Personal messages and calls remain end-to-end encrypted and private even when these controls are enabled.
