Apple has begun notifying users it believes have been targeted by mercenary spyware attacks via iPhone, email, and Apple Account. The company has sent threat notifications to users in over 150 countries since 2021.

OpenAI released a preview of GPT-5.6’s Ultrafast mode. The new mode, powered by Cerebras infrastructure, is up to 14 times faster than standard processing and can generate up to 750 output tokens per second. Currently, it is limited to select API customers.
