Mapping company TomTom and automated driving startup DeepRoute.ai have signed a memorandum of understanding to advance AI-based automated driving.
The two have integrated TomTom's location data into DeepRoute.ai's driving software, letting vehicles combine sensor input with road layouts and local traffic rules to plan ahead, even on unfamiliar roads. A demo vehicle built for advanced L2+ and L2++ driver-assistance functions will offer open-road test drives at the Paris Motor Show.
